About Me.
Hi, I’m Judith Mendiolea—a communicator and storyteller who thrives on uncovering the threads that connect people, places, and ideas. My work spans journalism, documentary production, and communications strategy, with a focus on environmental, scientific, and community-driven narratives.

As I finish my studies in journalism and communications, I’ve had the privilege of writing for The Guardian, contributing to Wild Aura magazine, and helping shape the social media efforts of Island Trails P.E.I. I’ve also ventured into documentary filmmaking, including my current collaboration with the P.E.I. Heritage Foundation on their Island Digital Voices series and my own environmental documentary At the Edge of the Island showcasing P.E.I.'s coastal erosion. My path has been shaped by over three years of work in language studies —translation, teaching, and debate— which taught me the power of precision and the art of crafting impactful messages. Fluent in four languages and shaped by life in five countries, I bring a global outlook and an ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
